Refund and Cancellation
Once you have made payment of fees for the DMB, you have a period of 14 days during which you may request a full refund of fees paid provided that you have not commenced the course. All lessons and topics require to be completed sequentially and our system tracks your progress. You will have been deemed to have commenced the course if you have progressed beyond the introductory lesson (lesson M1L0). Once you have commenced the course, fees are not refundable even if you are within the 14 day period. After the 14 day period no refunds will be issued regardless of whether you have commenced the course or not.
Duration
Following payment, and your commencement of the course, you will have access to the course materials and course forum for a period of 12 months. You may apply for issue of the certificate of completion once you have worked through all the materials and application must be made within the 12 month period. Even after you have applied for, and received, your certificate you will have access to the course and forum for the balance of the 12 month period.
Delivery of DMB
On acceptance of your payment (via secure PayPal payment gateway) you will be emailed a PayPal receipt and a separate email from us with a username and password which will provide you with access to the course. This procedure is automated and, typically, emails will be received within a few minutes of your payment being accepted.
If, after checking in your junk/spam folder, you do not receive these emails then please contact us and we shall get matters resolved as soon as possible.
Provision of Service
Jump Digital Ltd. will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that the DMB course materials and user forum are available and accessible however there may be times when technical hardware and software issues temporarily disrupt service and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
It is important that you contact us with any accessibility issues as and when they arise and if we are aware of prolonged site wide service issues we shall (when technically feasible) contact you by email to that effect.
In the unlikely event of an inability to access the DMB course for a period of more than 7 days over a 12 month period then you can request an equivalent extension to your access period (assuming that the inability to access is not as a result of a failure of technology or software on your part)
Jump Digital Ltd. reserve the right to withdraw access to the DMB with immediate effect if you fail to abide by any of these terms and conditions and in particular with regard to behaviour within the online forum and respect for intellectual property and usage rights. In such a situation it would be at the sole discretion of the University of Aberdeen as to whether or not a certificate of completion of the DMB would be issued to you or not.
Intellectual Property
Jump Digital Ltd. own all intellectual property rights in the DMB course materials. Where references are made to external reading, reference materials and tools etc. (over which we do not have intellectual property rights) they are clearly designated.
By purchasing access to the DMB course you are granted a non-transferrable, non-exclusive, license to use the course materials, in a personal capacity, for a period of one year from the date that you first access the course materials.
By accepting these terms and conditions you are agreeing not to copy, make available, retransmit, reproduce, sell, license, distribute, publish, broadcast or otherwise circulate the DMB course materials.
Your username and password is for your personal use only.
